I am flirting with the idea of running a marathon at some point (2013?).

No miles today - Hi/Lo class at the gym with 10 minutes of trainer directed core workout.  50 minutes of cardio; 60 minutes total.

Started base training.  Slowed way down to 6.0 - 6.5 mph and ran for 50 minutes; could have gone longer but since I normally run for 25 minutes at a faster pace I thought this would be a good start.  Legs feel fatigued next morning, but not bad.

Today is a rest day so I just ran a warm-up mile before Hi/Lo class at the gym.  Whew - what a class, he really worked us tonight.  I was feeling pretty good today, no as sore as I thought I'd be after last night's run.   However, once I started my warm-up mile I realized that my legs were pretty tired.  Made it through class though - I call day 2 of my training successful!  Boston, here I come!  (Well, in a couple years....)

No miles tonight - had an hour long session with a PT and then went to that same PT's step class.  He kicked my butt on both counts.  I figure that this can count as an endurance session - I only had one five minute break.  Very tired at the end - taking Friday off to recoup and then it's fartleks on Saturday.
