I think my schedule will be settling down a bit now so hopefully I can get back to running. Hot and humid for the run tonight so I went slow - it felt good!! :-) |

| | It feels good to be running again and I'm excited to start my next half marathon training in a few weeks. Ramping up mileage right now so I'm ready to go - I had to back off so much that I'm a little nervous about getting injured but I'm trying to remember to take it easy......not so simple! |

Temps were in the high 80's and the humidity was in the 80's....so, sllloooooowwwww run. Didn't take much to get my heart rate up today! I was supposed to run longer but opted to switch the longer run to tonight when it will be cooler. |

| | Weather was much cooler and the run went better. I had the kids with me so I couldn't go as long as I wanted to but 3.2 is better than nothing! |

| | This was supposed to be 6 miles but my daughter got up before I left and since I didn't want to wake my late-working husband I took her with me. 3 miles is about all my 3 yr old can handle in the stroller....oh well, at least I got those in! |

| | Wow, were my legs tired for this run. I could tell in the first few steps and it didn't get any better. I'm really noticing the weeks I slacked off and then add in pushing my daughter in her stroller on most the runs.....I need to run a bit smarter because I'm booked for half marathons every few months for the next year! No time for injury..... |

| | The good news is that I can confirm my legs are getting tired because of pushing my daughter in her stroller (60 extra lbs!). I didn't have to take her along last night and today my legs and glutes are feeling good, not tired as they have been the past several runs. The bad news is that it was so stinking hot I overheated and had to cut my run short. I really need to find a more shaded route.....oh well, I just knocked off a mile and since I ran Monday night, which wasn't called for, I'm thinking it will be ok. XT training or rest tonight, my body wants to run again.....but I'm not going to let it! |
